Join us for Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s annual Global Big Day Bird Count!

What is Global Big Day? GBD is a celebration of birds and their global citizenship that connects us all. Last year, Global Big Day brought more than 51,000 people from 201 countries together, setting new world records for a single day of birding!

How can you participate? Go birding! Sit in your backyard, take a walk along your favorite trail or go hard and visit as many habitat types as you can! Identify the birds you see by sound and sight and record your observations. Submit your checklist on eBird

Master Naturalists, don't forget, submitting bird counts on eBird counts towards your volunteer hours!
